Oh thank you so much for saying so. In these last few days (since I found out about Jeffrey Zaslow’s passing) I have felt sort of guilty about my somewhat negative review. And I was wondering if I was too harsh or not. And still if I’m being honest I loved what he was trying to do and I loved the stories of the people and the connections BUT whether he intended it or not the tone was judgmental towards those who did not choose purity before marriage. As someone who is personally connected to one of the brides in the book, I absolutely loved your review. It is so true! I felt the same way about the Hansen sisters and the general tone to their story. (Although I have met some of them and they seem to be very nice people.) I too felt like Alyssa was slamming other brides, but to each her own.

I think Jeffrey Zaslow (RIP) did a wonderful job telling Danielle’s story. Hers was my favorite, but of course I’m biased. I cry in streams everytime I read it. While he did get a few facts wrong, the majority of the story was spot on.

This is my first trip to your site and I believe I will be back.
