Concerned kid: Is Grandma coming?
Clueless mom: Nope kiddo just us and our friends.

Bah! Awesome. Such faith they have in us, right? My almost-7-year-old is certain that he is smarter than I am. And it’s possible he’s right.
I remember thinking my parents knew what they were doing, but now that I’m a parent I know one thing for sure: my folks had no clue, and were totally crossing their fingers, saying their prayers, and hoping things didn’t completely unravel.
Love love love this!!! This is one smart cookie – she’s gonna keep you on your toes all the days of your life. This is a good thing!!
Who does she think I am exactly if not a grown up? I dont’ even want to know the answer to that…
