Alright party people it’s part two of my Hunger Games party post- the menu!
Starting off your morning right with a nice cup of (anti) sleep syrup, Capitol’s orange juice (with a not so secret ingredient -champagne) and the Effie, a pink lemonade, pink champagne and fruit juice concoction…
Moving on to our heartier menu options: Greasy Sae’s breakfast casserole, Rue’s roasted root vegetables, Cato’s (asparagus) spears, District 11’s crescent rolls, Prim’s goat cheese & basil and Mellark’s Bakery bread…
Take a whole a look at the whole table and see if you can spot Katniss’ wild strawberries and District 12’s forbidden blackberries…
Even though we were all stuffed no one in their right mind could say no to this dessert spread- Peeta’s apple and goat cheese tart (click HERE for the recipe), Capitol’s honey pudding and Cinna’s cupcakes on fire.
Brittany made that and here she is putting the finishing touches on the Capitol’s honey pudding…
These were AMAZING.

I am so impressed. And hungry.
Don’t be too impressed. Someone asked if the breakfast casserole had tuna in it. That’s so not what you want to hear. #casserolefail
Thanks for the awesome ideas…. Love the cupcakes
I’ll try to convince the cupcake maker to give me a recipe
Wow! Just Wow wow wow!
This food looks amazing! I bet it tasted awesome.
This is one hell of a party.
I will have an Effie with Prim’s goat cheese and basil, please
coming right up!
I could spend some time drooling over that table full of food. Tell us what “Katniss’ wild strawberries” is make of? Or was it just wild strawberries? The entire spead looks luscious. I love good food.
You had me at “Anti-Sleep-Syrup.”
ps – I just bought an espresso machine.
pps – I could take picture of the milk froth all day long.
This feels like a momentous occasion! An espresso machine!?! You should send out a birth announcement.
So hungry now!! Wish I had half the creativity you do
feel very free to borrow all of these ideas!
