Can we be friends, Thanksgiving edition

If today is Thanksgiving, a day of contentment and gratitude and tomorrow is Black Friday, a day of greed and the search for the perfect Snuggie blanket, half off, then I guess it wouldn’t be entirely Un-American for me to say that while I am so thankful for the (Facebook) friends in my life, I really wouldn’t mind a few (hundred) more.

So please, take a moment in your post dinner lull to fill out another delightful friendship questionnaire.

PS to save you the trouble of a Google search this is a Turbriskafil, though if you didn’t know that outright I may need to sent you a supplementary friendship quiz packet, please email me your mailing address and $3.95 for shipping and handling

Where’s the section on the turkey that was given to your husband by his boss? That’s the only kind we get;)
    And cranberry sauce- always!

  2. Jill says:

I like this comment card! :) made my day- especially the forced to watch two twilight movies part!!! ;)

  3. Eva Gallant says:

Turkey cooked at my son’s house by my daughter-in-law was not on the list of choices.

    • Yuliya says:

I think you’d have to pick the thing that your particular turkey tasted like then ;) For your sake I hope it was most like turkey

  4. Turbriskafil??? I am laughing laughing laughing at that. We usually have a Turducken (won’t til Christmas this year) but we went back to our default – deep fried turkey. Yum yum! Don’t I get points for the natural and healthy peanut oil (haha)?? Do I lose points ’cause it was a Honeysuckle Turkey that wasn’t massaged or sung to much less forced to watch Twilight?

  5. Cameron says:

I’m a wee bit apprehensive that my Butterball from the big box club store isn’t listed there…

    Are we not friends anymore?

  6. Nichole says:

I love you. That is all.
    ;)

  7. I would kill any turkey that’s getting massaged daily with my bare, unmassaged hands.

    Okay. Maybe not.

But I’d give him the stink eye for sure.

  8. Venus says:

Normally we’re all about the Turducken (which, by the way, take 4 days to make when you don’t buy them pre-made). At some point we’d like to try a Camel Atrocity, but first we have to figure out where to get camels.

This year we wussed out and did two lonesome turkeys.

  9. Lolly says:

I didn’t serve anything but I certainly enjoyed some delicious fresh off the farm and grilled turkey! :)

  10. Do we get bonus points if we shot it ourselves?

  11. We had a prebaked ham, b/c I had a feeling I wouldn’t be up tocooking on Thanksgiving. Turns out I was right ;)

TY for the sweet well wishes on Ailia’s arrival! :)
