For this Halloween I looked in the mirror and asked myself “do I need a costume?”
It turns out I don’t…
Yes folks I am a MOM, no accessories necessary.
But since that wasn’t mortifying enough, I also dressed my kiddo and I up to match:
Future awkward teenage moment, check! I like to plan ahead.
Oh and thanks to a fabulous second hand store we have in town, she also made quite a cute bunny, before I managed to lose her costume somewhere. Mom fail.
And last but not least, by decree of The Empress (blogging royalty who mandates that there must be pictures of babies and pumpkins) I dragged my butt out to the pumpkin patch early Sunday morning and found precisely two pumpkins that hadn’t rotted yet, A for effort…
( here’s hoping I win a Canon Rebel from those fab SITS girls!)

No, not a real mouse next to her, but I can bet you there were real mice scampering around that field…rotting pumpkins tend to draw a rowdy mice bunch!

I didn’t brave the pumpkin patch in my uniform but I did put on pants to greet the trick or treaters with…mom win?
